okay, I went to Nova Scotia, I came back from Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia was fun. no, really, I had a great time. The weather was the best mix of sunny days and rainy days so that I didn't feel bad about spending a day cooped up alone in the cottage reading. perfect. I've been busy lately, we had a lot of choir rehearsals for the dedication Mass. That's over now, so I've gotten back into the swing of working out. Well, trying to get back into the swing of working out. I've gone to the gym on Monday, and Wednesday. I spend about an hour and fortyfive minutes each day there. Some erg machine, a couple miles on the treadmill, some step aerobics with weight balls, some jumproping, some free weights, some ab exercises. Pretty much anything to keep my heartrate up and give myself some strength training as well as cardio. I have the tendency to go heavy on cardio and light on the weights, but I've determined that I want to be able to do pushups. Real pushups, no cheating, and a lot of them. I want to be able to do fifty in a row. Anyways, I'm going to campus for the ND v Michigan game. I need to reserve my hotel room, it looks like I might be going solo. I found one and it's not bad as far as game weekend rates go and proximity to the campus. I'm knitting an ND blanket for P and D to thank them for all the years they've let me mooch off of their great location. It will probably be a bit small, but it will be big enough for a lap blanket to curl up with on the couch. I have so many projects in my head that I want to complete. Fitness Knitting Sewing another handbag Sewing my gameday shirt The bag can wait until after, but for the rest, I only have a month. And the knitting and exercise will take up a lot of time. Priorities.
